Ruh
The common saying is that we get to hear that God is in Quran talking about the ruh of humans in chapter 17 verse 85.
So we hear that God has said that He has given very little knoweldge of ruh to humans.
But I heard a mulana sagib saying that this verse is not talking about human ruh but rather the ruh that brought quran upon the holy prophet (saw).
So basically people asked our prophet (saw) you claim that there comes a spirit ya ruh but we see no one arriving ?
So how exactly should we understand this ayat?.

This verse is about revelation. The word Ruh is not used in the Quran for soul.

then why do our ulama use this verse to say we can’t know about our conciousness or our spirit because God has said this in this verse?
