    Q is;

    Is our physical form , this body with the specific face we inherit from our parents genes , is this also important?

    Because I heard scolars say like we are the personalities residing in this flesh and bones.

    We are not the physical form because it will die and it changes throught human life a little like getting older.

    So when we will get resurrected by God on the day of judgement, will it be the same body ( ofcourse a little tweaked with afterlife laws which I get we don’t or can’t comprehend now ) and same face we have in this world?

    Because as I said I heard a lot from scolars saying that ; Who am I ? I am not this bags of bones and flesh. I am the personality residing within it. The real me that is made eternal by God. I am the ruh or spirit or concioussness whatever the term one like’s to use. This body is made from dust and it will vanish into dust.

    So does that conclude that we will no longer see our face on qiyama as we do now in front of mirror and affirm yeah this is me .

    And how will we then recognize ourself and others we were with in this dunya? So this form has no importance what so ever?

    God has told us that he will resurrect us as we are so much so that our finger tips will be restored. The analogy God tells is of reproduction of plants in the Qur’an for our resurrection. It seems that we will be resurrected in a complete shape as wee are. There seems no reason to change our face. Let the time come to reveal the details.
