Some sins that are mentioned as deadly in the Bible aren’t mentioned in the list of major sins in the Quran. If they are deadly, how come they are not major? They definitely don’t feel minor either. So, is there another category of that is like, not minor, not major but in between or close to major sins?

Yes. There are sins that are not major but still not minor. They may very well take one to major sins.

Take the example of the traffic rules. They are applied to prevent the accidents. If one breaks a traffics rule that may cause no harm still it is considered am offence, though the actual offence of hitting someone doesn’t happen. There are some minor violations and some are considered major violations though the actual offence is still not happend. On the other hand since the actual office of hitting not happend the the constable or the court has authority to forgive the offender.

The same method is applied in the cases of major and minor sins. The impact of a sin decides it is major or minor or in between them. For example a harmless lie is a minor sin but to make a false witness against someone is not minor.
