    Are the sound effect of any kind produce from intrument such a elevator beeping sound, Car horn, openin electric door sound, alarm clock bells, beeping from some sort of metal detector and airport/airplane sound effect before announcement Haram? And does such sounds when added to media carries over the haram element? E.g take it games where u have a beeping sound when a microwave turn off or bomb goes off, Sound of guns shooting, swords/blades or any scifi spaceship makin a flying sound which are most of the time made up sound effects.

    Or does sound have to musical in a clear sense of melody to be consider music thus after that ruled as haram or halal in that sense?

    Nothing is haram unless it involves something objectionable.

    Music is not haram. But when a song involves immorality or vulgarity, polytheistic lyrics, it makes it haram.

      @Dr. Irfan Shahzad

      Immorality is a broad but established term if I understand correctly in sharia by ur definition for example if I see a war movie of 2 non Islamic countries fighting or play a fighting game with the guns, blades and fighting sounds, or any sound made from an instrument i.e suspensful music, hype music or the fighting music could be considered as

      song involves immorality because the act of fighting for sports, unnecessary war , Gun usage etc could make the music around it Haram.

      Please correct me if I’m wrong.
