Different Meanings Of Two Verses
In the following verse , Allah says the following :
SURAH AL-IMRAN AYAT 19
إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمُۗ
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.
But in following Aayat mentioned below , how can Allah say that you follow your religion : doesn’t it contradict as Allah has already declared that Allah’s religion.
Surah Al-Kafirun
لَكُمۡ دِينُكُمۡ وَلِيَ دِينِ ٦
For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.”

Deen in the second verses is used in its literal meaning. It means, way’. Here it is on the occasion of parting with that disbelievers. Here it means you go your way I go my way.
In the first verse it is used in its technical or terminological meaning that is Islam.
