Zakat On Land To Sell In Future
Assalam u Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh! I hope you are doing good in life!
I have a question.If someone has any agricultural land and he/she gets yearly “produce” from them,we imply that they will give Zakat on that produce!
But what if someone has bought a land “property type” with intention that they will sell it in some time and use the money for their child’s education or marriage and they are not getting any profit from it on a yearly basis, will that person be liable to give Zakat on that type of land?

Items of personal use are exempt from Zakat and this includes any plot/savings made for children’s education or their marriage etc.
