AssalamuAlaikum, brothers I want to know if one leaves a job but start having doubts on his saved income, like whether he lacked something, or did his 100% or not on the job, questioning his own efforts, time management etc. If he has saved some amount and now:

    – He wants to buy a phone and create content to seek good deeds, Naiki and sawab. what should be done?

Will his all efforts be in vain if the mobile he purchased from the money which might turned haram in the hereafter? Or will his efforts be still rewarded, and the gunnah will only be on the conduct at job?

As this situation is different than stealing money or earning through haram means. It is about not being sure if the employee fulfilled all his duties 100% or not.

So in this situation what is advisable? At this stage, what should he do to be sure about his past earning. He really wants to create content for good deeds, but having doubts on his saved money from income.

Should he msg his managers and ask if there were any complaints on his work, or something that was not completed?

This is unnecessary to create doubts. If something real objectionable is there, then you correct it, if not then everything is halal. This is the attitude a Muslim adopts in everything thing.

If the doubts on income saved are:

Coming late in the office: however, it was always transparent between this employee and his manager whom he reported. And it was never an issue. Also, the employee always used fingerprint to enter in the office, and exit, meaning the company/HR/finance never deducted salary. Or the employee never got any notice/report of it. They could deduct salary but they did not.

Rest: The work was mostly ok. But in some tasks, could be better.

So, with these above things, how much portion of salary will be impure? I hope not whole income would become impure.

Or can you recommend any solution to make whole income justifiable like by asking managers about their feedback for work etc?

    Dear brother,

This kind of thought is an outcome of OCD. We advise people suffering from OCD to ignore these thoughts and consult a psychologist or psychiatrist to get rid of OCD.
