    The Concept Of Ismah

    Assalamualaikum

    Can you explain the concept of Ismah, especially from a Sunni perspective? Has Ghamidi Sahab ever said/written anything about this?

    Ismah of the prophets is confined to receiving and transmitting of the divine message, that is Deen. However in other matters the prophets could error or misjudge. If it was a matter of Ijtihad God corrected them, but not necessarily in other matters.

    There is no concept of even this kind of ismah for non prophets.
