It is a common practice, especially in Canada, to lie or make up jobs you haven’t done before to show experience in order to get a job. I have been applying relentlessly and haven’t received any call. I paid someone to improve my resume and the person added some experience which was made up. Is that ok?

It is a lie. It is not ok. However, if you receive a job according to your false CV, the job and income are not haram, because the salary will be given for your efforts, but the sin of lying is there, for which one should repent.

Oh I didn’t thought of it in that way. So, what should I do in this case. The experience I have is barely any, not possible to get a job with that experience. What can or should I do?

This is what you have to decide, brother.
