The question is are you independent? Ie are parents supporting you financially?
What is cultural sensitivity?

Parents generally want best for their kids and has more experiene of society. What may seem bad to you may actually be beneficial for you.

I mentioned independence and cultural sensitivity.
In Islam, your right is to wear decent dress to fulfill God command of Hifz e furooj.
Jeans is just an item which is not obligatory.
If you are independent of parents and cultural norm allows it then no issue with wearing it.
If dependent on Parents, you can only talk to them, respectfully as advised by Irfan sb. They have their rights too.
