I heard from a Maulana that having the word ‘Naz’ in one’s name can lead to difficulties in life, as ‘Naz’ means pride, and Allah dislikes those who are prideful. I have faced many challenges in life and am wondering if there is any truth to this. Could someone kindly verify this? Should I consider changing my name?

These are baseless ideas. These are superstitions. You have a good name. You need not to change it. Find the practical ways to deal with your problems.
