California Tragedy, And Surah Fatiha Recitation After Imam In Namaz
Asslamo Alaikum!
My name is Muhammad Safeer Shahid. I am from Pakistan. I have two questions. The first one is, is it necessary to recite Surah Fatiha every time Farz namaz even when Imam is already reciting it. Should Muqtadi recite it in farz namaz in every Rakat?
Secondly, whatever tragedy happening in California that everything is embraced by fire. Some people considering this as punishment fro. Allah to them and relating it what Israel and their allies are doing in Gaza (Palestine). What is your take on this? on the other hand, as we know it happens frequently in USA and Australia that fire catches up and create chaos every year.

One should not recite Surah Fatiha behind the imam when he is reciting it aloud. However, when he recites silently, one should recite it personally.

We have no knowledge to decide about a particular disaster is a punishment of God or not. We can’t play God. All we have to do is to take such calamities a reminder of the day of Judgment for us all.
