Nikaj is a declaration that a man and a woman are now going to live as husband and wife. The declaration is necessary otherwise it is a secret marriage which is not a valid nikah. It is a violation of the rule, still it can’t be nullified.

    Nikkah need to Declared period.

Allah give full liberty to the couple to do nikkah when they reached to the age of Nikkah. It doesn’t needs that your parents needs to agree or not. Allah ask us todo husneSalook with parents not to do Ataat of them, if it conflicts with the law of Allah.

Allah’s law will overwrite any parents ask. You can respectfully disagree with your parents.
