In Holy Quran in surah Sad there is an event mention about King and prophet David about 99 sheeps .but there is no explanation in quran about it. The bible relates this to unpleasent action of King David and Batsheba. But my heart does not accept it. Please explain what was that incident mention in quran.

The Quran did not mention it, but the story ascribed to the prophet David is a fabrication by the opponents of David since he was king, and a political leader, therefore being a political figure, people assassinated his character. The crime ascribed to him cannot be committed by an ordinary pious person, let alone by a prophet.

Ghamidi saheb writes in his Tafsir Al Bayan:

“What was this mistake? The Qur’ān has not specified it; hence we too should not strive to look for it. What most can be said in the light of the dispute that came to his knowledge in the form of a parable is that as a king a desire probably arose in his heart to exercise control on someone’s asset for private or public use or this desire was expressed by him in words. Ultimately, he was admonished by God in this way.”
