Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Two voices are cursed in this world and in the Hereafter: a flute at a time of celebration, and wailing at a time of calamity.”Source: Musnad al-Bazzār 7513

Every prohibition is based on something immoral or unethical. When something immoral or unethical action or lyrics are attached to music, only then it is prohibited, if not, then it is not.
According to Muhadditheen, all the Ahadith that prohibit Music are not authentic, including this one. In its chain of narrators, there is Muhammad bin Yunus who is supposed to fabricate Ahadith.
