There is a famous incident that Ali ibn talib burnt the abdullah ibn saba and his lashkar for they attributed divinity to Ali. The argument is presented that he burnt them after takfeer. Also what about musaylima kazab. Isn’t takfir done on them?

They were all punished under apostasy which was a specific punishment for the direct addressees of the Prophet Muhammad (sws). This was in accordance with the law of Itmam-e-Hujjah.
