    Hello,

I have a pretty straightforward question. I understand that one can make supplication in his prayers either in arabic or in his own language, but i wanted to know if one is preferred over the other?

Is it better to rehearse supplications featured in the Quran and Ahadith as it is, since your tongue will be uttering same exact words as were uttered by prophet Muhammad PBUH or were revealed by the Lord of the Kingdom. Or this is meaningless?

It is personal choice. The supplications in the Qur’an and ahadith do not cover all personal needs. However they teach us the manners of the supplication and that what we should ask for.
