History does not claim to have recorded every detail of the past, therefore, the absence of evidence does not prove anything.

if the absence of evidence doesn’t disprove Noah then it surely doesn’t prove his existence either.

if it doesn’t prove his existence, does taht mean Quran is not a proven book? and it’s full of stories we don’t know anything about?

With all due respect I think brother Farhan’s question is based on a misunderstanding of how historical evidence and proof work. The principle he’s referring to is “absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.” Just because we don’t have independent historical records of Prophet Noah (Nuh, AS) doesn’t mean he didn’t exist. Many ancient events and figures are not documented outside religious or oral traditions, yet that doesn’t mean they are myths.

The Quran is not a history book; it conveys truth in a way that goes beyond just physical evidence. Faith is not always dependent on external proof, especially when dealing with events from thousands of years ago. Lack of archaeological or historical records does not make something untrue especially when it comes to figures from early human history, where records were scarce.

So, the Quran remains a “proven book” in the sense that its message, consistency, and impact remain unmatched. Its truth is not dependent on whether modern historians have records of every past event.

if the absence of evidence is not the evidence for his non existence then the absence of evidence is not the evidence for his existence too.

if i can’t say for sure the Noah never existed how can anyone say he existed either.

the thing is No one can say Noah existed, even people 1400 years ago. But apparently the non believers of Prophet Muhammad were “SARKASH” and were denying the truth to the extent that Allah had to order prophet Muhammad to kill them.

Therefore Yiu need to verify the Qur’an to be the word of God from the news and description which are verifiable. If it proves to be the word of God then you will know that not only Noah but the Unseen world does existe where there are God and angels and Hell and Paradise.

So follow the correct order to explore a subject.
