    In Quran[12:93] Yusuf (a.s) sends his shirt, which when put on the face of his father( Yaqoob) recovers back all his lost eye sight…

    Can this statement be an argument in favour of those collecting “tabaruqaat” from different Saints or shrines….expressing their deep emotional connection with them.

    Is this way of healing permitted in islam?

    It needs to be certified by God or by experience to believe that something can heal. Assuming or speculating that something can heal is false, and falsehood may lead to shirk. God did not make it a tradition that saints’ belongings can heal. The incident of Yousuf’s shirt was an event, not a pattern or formula.
