sir ghamidi has stated that the role of “sarbarahi” in the institution of marriage is based upon the responsibility to provide for the family. If the responsibility is trasfered to woman, then she takes up the role of “sarbarahi”.

At other places he has said that the reason why men can have 4 wives because he is the “sarbrah” hence the essence of constitution of marriage isnt changed but women cant marry 4 men because “4 comapnies mein se mulazmaat nahi ki jaskti”

Now, if the woman has taken up the role of “sarbarahi”, can she marry 4 men as “4 companies ka aik malik hoskta hai” provided all of the men has given her the role of “sarbarahi”

It is incapacity of woman that she can’t have more than one husbands. If the men lives separately she has to go to them to one by one to spend time with them while giving birth to their children and bringing them up in different houses. In a single house It would be a mess. Diffemt husbands would want their babies from the single wife and it would damage her health. If she is a working leady this won’t let he do her job. To make such marriages work everyone has to make long comprises which would leave no pleasure in marriage.

It is practically not possible. Long periods of pregnancy and childbirth and feeding do not allow her to have more than one husbands. It is not just about providing.

Therefore human nature rightfully decided not to have polyandry.
