In the last recitation of the Qur’an which is called Arza Al Akhira, the Qur’an was reorganized by Jibrael and it was taught to the prophet. Some verses were then excluded. That final version was given to the prophet.
However, the verse which is supposed to be Ayat e Rajam is very poor in language and can’t be a Quranic verse at all. This hadith has been criticized by Ghamidi saheb.
