Salam. I would like to ask who were the leaders of Yahood in Prophet’s era and do we have any records of their direct interaction with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Since all of the dealings with Jews of that time were done with their tribes as a whole, that is why we read more about them via their tribe names. But the names of their leaders/chiefs are also found in histiory books. Kaab bin Ashraf was the chief of Banu-Nazeer (who was killed in 3rd Hijri because of his extreme enmity against Muslims). After that, Huyay b. Akhtab was their chief. Similarly, Kaab bin Asad was the chief of Banu-Quraiza.
You can refer to any good history book like Tarikh-e-Tabri to know more about them.
