There are TV shows in Pakistan that expose wrongdoing, such as corruption and harassment, etc. The hosts interrogate individuals and make remarks like ‘Sharam arhi hai aapko’ (‘Aren’t you ashamed?’). Everything is broadcast on television. Is this method of exposure, essentially a televised court, in line with Islamic teachings, considering the public shaming and the fact that hosts earn fame and wealth through it?”
