Postman Job
I have asked this q previously but I am still not convinced with the answer or I might have not explained good ; So I will do it now.
The main job of postman is just deliver the post and packages. So far I searched it’s halal. But I also have to deliver advertisement books as well to every postbus of housesof people. Its a supermarket advertisement books let’s say Aldi. Now this supermarket books have halal and haram food in them promoting it or telling you to buy it by showing the images of the food and the price. Now on some pages there are pictures of wine and alcohol in this book obvious to buy that as well. Also haram pork food as well . But the focus of this ad books is not to promote specifically alcohol or haram food. But it’s a category in it among the halal items. So My task is not really directly promoting alcohol or pork food but just deliver post and packages and these ads. I’m not responsible for the content of these ad books. So will my job be haram to do or should I really quit and I’m just searching for reasons to stay? Because how can it be haram while the main task is halal , it’s just delivery , just that ad book is an issue perhaps because it has some haram elements.
I’m not sure if this platform is the right place to ask this question but I would like to have a detailed opinion of you guys as well kindly if you can. I am trying to find another job but for now with this one I can pray on time and I have to bring my wife from Pakistan here so I need to show this in papers as well! I need to have a specific amount of income according to this country law and this job has it. That’s why I’m doing this job. Other than that I have no reason to do this job. So in this particular situation , should I continue or am I still making Allah angry by continuing at this job? Kindly enlighten me upon this matter, even if the response is not to my liking , just tell me what exactly is this? Haram halal, or makru but permissible? For now I have avoided the ads books and I just don’t distribute them and I put them back without the notice of the teamleader. So At the moment I’m coping like this.

For instance, televisions, mobile phones, and computers can be used to access inappropriate or unethical content. However, your responsibility is merely to provide the tools—such as journals—while the moral choice of how to use them lies with the individual.

So I should keep doing the job? Other scolars say it’s still haraam and should better seek another job. Because they say I am still contributing indirectly to buy alcohol or unlawfull meat with the ads distribution. So what do you suggest? Elaborate kindly!

You can continue with the job because what you are delevering is to the non Muslims. It is like a non Muslim asks you to tell him a shop where he can buy pork. It is ok to tell him the shop.
Still if You are uncomfortable we with the job you can change it when you find another one.
