Azab On Jews
Salam.
My question is what is the justification of divine punishment of modern day Jews for the crimes of their ancestors. My understanding is no one responsible for others’ sins then why Almighty has destined periodic punishment for Jews till eternity.

Every generation of Jews is inviting God’s punishment by following the wrong of their forefathers and not paying heed to what their book says and to the signs of truth provided by the prophet Jesus and prophet Muhammad.

Would you be kind enough to describe why such harsh punishment for people who actually didn’t kill the Prophets? Quran says they are being punished because they used to kill messengers. Muslims violate much worse like sufi worship and Hindus outright reject all. Appreciate your response.

Jews rebelled against God despite his addressing them and sending prophets to them. They experienced existence of God like not others. Therefore when they disobeyed God, denied that truth when it came to them with clear signs, they were punished.
The greatest sin is to disobey God. Violations again human beings is a sin and but knowingly denying God and His message is a greater sin.
