Downloading YouTube Videos | Sinful

Hope you all are doing well.
I have a query that sometimes we need some videos or audios in a offline mode but there is no download option available for that particular video or audio. Considering the fact that YouTube does not allow downloading videos by using 3rd party tools, Can we still download that particular video / audio via 3rd party tool for our specific need? Will it be sinful?

If the author does not allow it, it would be unethical to download his creation and therefore sinful.
