Is it permissible to watch anime that have violence and shirk in them as the one who is watching is a grown person and is somewhat no affected by it and if affected will leave it? (Considering all overly sexual scenes are skipped that some series include or otherwise not watch that paticular series at all)
And please provide evidence and proof as I think I have yet to find it from both sides
People who say its ok
People who say it is not okI seen some forums but it does not contain any proof and if i am correct i (this is a summary) heard that watching shirk is a major sin. Any hadiths or quranic verses against it?

Please see to understand principles of determining halal and haram.
If you think, anime is causing inclination towards fawahish or ithm or shirk then it will be considered haram on basis of sadde zariya.

To know about Shirk, to watch idols or temples, etc, or appreciating their craft, do not amount to shirk.

Does it amount to sin and I heard a shaykh say that this is a major sin why? -
