    I know this question is long so please answer as I wanted it to be detailed.

    I am a student living in a Muslim Country. There debate competitions called Model United Nations. These competitions can help be getting a scholarship in a university and lessen a resposibilities. ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ I have a talent in this field and I know I can succeed. But there a few bad things as well. There non hijabi women with makeup and men have to dress in suits. There is mixing but as nearly all are Muslims so there can be modesty. If genders are randomly sitting one people can sit with spaces in between. Some people abuse this and use this to chitchat with women and do haram things.
    If i steer away from fitnah can I go. And can i take it as a hobby

    Please give a detailed response with hadiths if required and take both Advantages and Disadvantages in this.

    And Please could a scholar answer this specific question.
