Why should religion matter while getting married if both the parties believe in following a religion only after true contemplation?

The question of which religion will the children follow can be solved by saying that they can follow the one which they think is True!!

Is marriage between a muslim and a Non Muslim valid?

The things we value matters in marriage. The way people do not prefer to marry a smuggler, corrupt, and prostitute, the person who consciously attain faith, knows the importance of believing in One God and the hereafter doesn’t prefer to have a partner who has different beliefs or no beliefs at all.

As far as children are concerned they should be free to choose their faith when they are in the age to decide. This freedom has already been given to them by God.
