I hope this message finds you well.
I would like to briefly share my journey. I was born into a minority community in Pakistan, and throughout my life, I faced many challenges due to this background. Despite the hardships, I developed a deep interest in philosophy and comparative religion — a curiosity that began during my time at Government College Lahore and continued during my Master’s studies in Germany.
While studying in Germany, I had the opportunity to engage in conversations with people of various faiths — Hindus, Catholics, Protestants — in an effort to understand their beliefs. At one point, I began to question the structure of religion itself, wondering whether the divisions we see are man-made. I also searched for answers within my own community but often found them unsatisfying.
It was during this time that I came across the work of Javed Ahmed Ghamidi Sahib. His balanced, rational, and grounded approach to religion deeply resonated with me. I’ve listened to many of his lectures and even asked a few questions through the forum, which were answered thoughtfully. Alhamdulillah, I now have clarity in my beliefs and understand what I believe and why.
I recently received German citizenship, and now I hope to travel to Dallas, insha’Allah, with the sincere desire to meet Ghamidi Sahib in person. I would be truly honored if there is any possibility to visit and stay for a few days — even if as a guest or volunteer. I am more than willing to contribute in any way that is helpful.
Please guide me on the process or steps required to make this visit possible. It would mean a great deal to me to experience the presence of this remarkable scholar.
