    Aslam u alaikum sir!

When we try to do some good deeds or when we think to advise someone to perform good, suddenly a thought comes into mind that if I would do good or advise, other person might take me as a good man ( he will thaink how good I am),, another thought jumps in “” I don’t want to be recognized as a good man; It might be rayakaari etc”. Then it ends up with my silence. How to avoid such thoughts? Are these thoughts normal ?

We have to spread good, this is our duty. People should not think of us that we do not have an urge to spread good. A society where people do not spread good is a rotten society. The thought of riykaari should be altered by refreshing the thought that you are doing it for your good in the hereafter.
