Is it appropriate to label soldiers as Shaheed who have died on duty as is done in Pak Army.

The concept of Shaheed, or Martyr, is found in almost every religion and society to signify that the person laid down their life in the way of truth. It is not disallowed to call someone a shaheed; however, only God knows who gave their life in the way of truth or the ways of God.
