Zakat
My mother has jewelry, which was given to her as a dowry and some of it, my father gifted to her. Now my question is about that jewelry that it isnt giving my family any kind of financial profits yet every year my father pays zakat for it. And that jewelry is the jewelry which my mother will distribute among my brothers and my wife as she said, so this proves that its is not for investment purposes. So is there any kind of zakat applicable on it?
