I’ve seen Ghamidi definition of guard your private parts for women but who is that in relation to? The opposite gender or the list provided later on with regards to who women should cover their ornaments in front of? Or is it a dependent on the situation. For example I would wear long sleeves in front of strange men, 3/4 th in front of the men of my household but be comfortable wearing half sleeves or sleeveless in front of the women of my household ( mother in law, sister in laws and even intimate friends who come to visit ). I feel my concepts are blurry. Is Ghamidi sahabs defination of of minimal dress code ( upper arms covered , from below neck to below knees) have to do with all circumstances or they can be stricter or lenient depending on your company ( malevs female, close vs strange) as well as the situation ( medical vs home environment vs going to someone else’s house)? Thankyou in advance. I highly appreciate the team for taking the time to answer our questions!

Private parts are to be guarded against all, except for spouses. The adjacent parts of the body with private parts, i.e, arms, shoulders, thighs, etc, are covered for better coverage. The additional covering can vary in different situations, as you indicate, depending on the cultural norms.
