Is This Riba / Interest
Salaam Alaikum. My car dealer friend sold a car for me an year and a half ago. I did not take the money from him at that time and then inbetween he was expanding his business and could not pay it to me when I asked. He is financially stable right now and wants to pay be back and has offered 10% on top since I have lost the opportunity to invest it in the interim. Will this be considered Riba if I take the additional 10% from him and if yes, then is there a better way to negotiate a deal which would be acceptable for a Muslim.

This is not Riba but his favour. The holy prophet used to return the debt with addition. This is a good gesture.
