Lyrics In Poetry And Music
I often hear romantic poetry or music use lines such as “even God can’t take you from me/ keep me from you” to imply intensity of affection… I don’t believe this is shirk but it does seem like wrong to me ( kufr?). Would such poetry be inappropriate?

The beauty of poetry is exaggeration but it has its limits too. The cited expression is inappropriate.
