Understand If Tight Are Part Of Awrah And How They Change In Base Of Urf
Aslamulakium today I have spent all day to understand if thigh is part of the awrah of the man.
I watch a video on YouTube where ghamidi sahab talk about the hifz e faroog and is divided in 3,obligatory,preferred and personal choice.Ghamidi Shab say that of course the absolute private part you must cover it,and for the rule of hifz you obligatory cover the part that bring them there,so from the navel to knee.
But in a video Ghamidi shab say that in a culture can be given URF, because in some society is not seen indent to show thigh.
I personally cover a part of the thigh my own fithrat say to me when i am wearing a short that is very short like a underwear and I personally feel ashame,but I often wear short that cover a part of the thigh and my fithrat don’t say nothing,BUT of course in prayer I cover even my whole body because at and of the day o am in front of my Lord,my Rab,my Allah.
Returning to the point,is thigh part of the awrah?and if is change in base of URF o situation?if yes how?and if I show the thigh is a minor o major sin?
