The Meaning Of Khilafat ‘Ala Minahzi Al-Nabua
What is the meaning of Khilafat ‘Ala Minahzi al-Nabua in Hadith? I heard or read Ghamidi sahab saying Umr ibn abd al aziz was what the prediction meant in the Hadith. But what does it truly represent? Proponents of political islam often use this as something in their favor. Does it mean principle of “Amruhum Shura Bainahum” only since it mentions about the kingship (mulukiyat)? Or it means the other things which Ghamidi sahab considers as part of commandments given by God regarding state (which is as far as my knowledge goes even the mulukiyat also kept intact—if so how does the distinction get created?)?
