    Dear respected moderators, is there any definition of wealth in Shariah (Islam), if there is what is the view of Ustad Ghamidi on wealth, can we count bitcoin as a wealth?

    Humans make definitions. Shariah does not define anything. Our Furqaha defines. Wealth is anything that humans can consider to be wealth, something valuable.

    Then what about bitcoin, is it consider as wealth, or currency, see that it gives profit and loses of thousands of dollar in month or even a day, some say it is jusct like gambling and or Maysir. What is view of Ustad Ghamidi on the currency …

    If bitcoin behaves like a currency it is currency.

    The investment should be fair, must not involve ambiguity, deception and gambling.

    Gambling is a game of pure chance, unlike trade, in which both parties trade something beneficial for earth other. In gambling one party must lose to benefit other.
