Zamhareer Being Extreme Cold Section In Hell
The popular understanding of the word “Zamhareer” is related to a section in Hell with extreme cold. Which I find hard to believe. Please advise.

One portion of Hell (Jahannum) is fire, there will be other levels of Hell which would be of lesser severity. There will be life in Hell. The intensity of misery of one’s life in Hell will depend on the level where one is being punished. Just the way extreme hot makes one life miserable, similarly, extreme cold does also. We get a hint from Hadith that both these extremes will be present there. The word “Zamhareer” is used in one of such Hadith.
