Praying On An Office Floor Where People Wear Shoes From Washrooms
Assalam u Alaikum, I have a question regarding prayer at my workplace. There isn’t a dedicated prayer area, and people walk around the office — including to the washrooms — wearing the same shoes they use on the office floor. The floor looks clean, but I’m unsure about its purity as people are bringing the same shoes as the washrooms to everywhere. I try to find the quite corners with minimal walking activity but there are people everywhere and I can’t find one. In such a situation, is it permissible for me to pray on the same floor if I use a prayer mat? JazakAllah.
