Isn’t Divorcing Wife Abruptly An Injustice To Her?
Assalamu alaikum
When a girl is married her family entrust the groom about her. She has believed this man and started new life.
Now, even if the husband has any reason if he doesn’t sharw it with the wife in a proper way so that she can understand what is her husband actually trying to do. if he doesn’t give any proper “warning” about what he is planning and abruptly divorce the wife. Isn’t divorcing sucb way an injustice to her. Doesn’t this act come under treachery?
Islam tells us to keep the trust of even an enemy. Then how come this act is not a treachery to the wife and her family who trusted this guy with their daughter?
This daughter was a amanah to him. Isn’t such divorce an injustice to her? That she didn’t even get a proper chance to save her marriage?
The husband divorced her abruptly and to justify his acr he pointed to some family arbitration which happened 4-5 years ago and after which they moved on?

This is the test of human beings not to abuse their authority and divine law. God has warned about it:
وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ سَرِّحُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ ۚ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوهُنَّ ضِرَارًا لِّتَعْتَدُوا ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ ۚ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا آيَاتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا
And when you divorce women and they reach the end of their waiting period, either retain them with kindness or let them go with kindness. And never retain them with the intention of harming them so that in this manner you commit excesses against them. And [you should know that] whoever does this will only be unjust to his own soul. And do not make a mockery of God’s revelations۔ (2: 231)

So such abrupt divorce without proper steps of reconciliation, prior warning to wife so that she couldn’t even understand what the husband is planning is injustice to the girl and her family?
