Actions Being Prohibited After Friday Azan
Posted by Mohammad Ali Soomro on November 24, 2025 at 11:12 pmAssallam u alaikum,
My question is that, as quran tells in (62:9-10)
Does other activities become prohibited themselves during this time? Or this only tells that we should hurry towards prayer instead of work?. If for example someone does a service of helping someone during this time like tyre changing, would the remuneration of this service also be Haram earning?
Because if at this specific time, if the activity of changing tyre without any urgency, was prohibited, then wouldn’t the earning of this specific act also become prohibited?

Member November 25, 2025 at 12:10 am@Irfan76 sir would such earning be undesirable to use? As this article suggests?
https://questionsonislam.com/question/earning-person-who-does-not-perform-five-daily-prayers-or-friday-prayer-halal
Sir the similar question would come about the work a person does in the last minutes of, for example asr prayer, which cause him to miss asr prayer. Earning of that work also, would be undesirable to use?

Can I reward their action? If I feel like reciprocating good deed with a money reward, kharchi. Will it be allowed for me?

Member November 27, 2025 at 11:59 pm@Irfan76 sir here business, as entailed by quran means any other work or exertion that can cause hindrance and missing of Friday prayer.
My question is about for example Friday azan happened, and it was disallowed for my friend to do modification on my bike, as this would cause hindrance in his Friday prayers, but still he did it on my bike out of love, and his prayer got delayed. Now when I remember his favor of modification of my bike, I feel like repaying it with a gift. But now I feel that, if his action of modifying my bike AT THAT time was disallowed (due to it being hindrance in his friday prayer) , then would my giving of gifts as a return for that action be lawful? As giving a gift for reciprocating that action is same as remuneration over an action. If remuneration of disallowed thing is not allowed to use, then me giving him gift as a return of that particular action (which was disallowed at that time) also be disallowed for him to use? Or disallowed for me to give? Would it be like disallowed/Haram earning?

Still, if you do not want to, don’t do it. Deen does not oblige you not return a favour.
