One more question is that some musicians release album with each album connecting each song in it for example if the theme of the album is about outside marriage relationship when listened to in a sequence but the songs do stand alone you can make another playlist with the songs that are okay when heard with your own perspective would it be okay to do so?
Similarly some also do that they make trilogies of album with each album confirming the old narrative can one listen songs from such albums or works?
What about an artist who has his whole lore in music based on themes against Islamic teachings. If one actively avoids anything related to their music and just engage with their variety content would it be okay?
Still wouldn’t it give the artist more exposure and stay them relevant? Like a green signal that they are admired and as their main job is to produce music and everything else is secondary so they’ll keep on doing their primary job. Considering these points what do you think

@Irfan76 sir what are your views on it?

Anything that is not objectionable in its content is allowed to listen to or watch, regardless of the intention or character of the artist. You are not responsible for others.

What are your opinions on the fact that ghamidi sahb says that one can differentiate between fiction and reality and can engage with such games that show polytheism as fiction. But Faisal sahb says that a Muslim shouldn’t create anything that depicts shirk in it even fiction. If Muslims shouldn’t create such things why ghamidi sahb allows engaging with them? Doesn’t it give a green signal to the creator for such games

Whenever you refer someone, please provide the reference.

However, when you have different opinions, as you understand them, adopt what appeals to you more.

I tried to find it but couldn’t because Faisal sahb’s profile is deleted

Some musical groups have a definite concept when they debut they assert it with every comeback and almost everyone knows what kind of concept they have for example if someone has the concept of them being divine beings all of the people that follow them know it and, it is so incorporated in their music but at the same time only their music can have a different meaning too if someone doesn’t care about what their intention is and ignore other piece of content they release to define the concept of their album or comeback.

And some even ‎debut on a date that further adds to their lore would following such artist permissible provided that one person only listen to songs that are clean and variety content that they release that is also not objectionable.

Can you please look into this matter

Any piece of art that is apparently not objectionable can be enjoyed, no matter what the intention or faith of the artist is. Man is not responsible for others’ actions.

But when something becomes a symbol of polytheism shouldn’t that not be adopted by a Muslim?

Also if the person takes inspiration from a story line they released on their own and that’s is full of shirk for e.g if they make a song from the story of Hindu gods and keeps those stories parallel with their music like with everytime they release something it adds to the story also they get the theme for their music but when we look at the lyrics in themselves they are okay. What about such music.

Even if one only listen to music wouldn’t it give a signal to the musician to keep on making music like this? And if everyone is aware they do so then?

Isn’t it the agreed upon that one is certain that the other person is involved in something Haram like one is sure the other person would to business with the things you provide them now even if those things are Halal in nature you shouldn’t do business with such a person?

So why not in such case when I’m sure that the person would or is taking inspiration or is promoting shirk and writing poetry

If Yiu think it leads to polytheism then you should avoid it.

The later part that it may encourage the artist, it should not be your concern.

Leads to polytheism in what sense. Like people being influenced by it or me being influenced by it to adopt polytheism.

What should be my concern I mean where to draw a line? Isn’t it like helping someone introduce an evil deed in society?

This is where you have to decide according to the case. If you think it leads to something sinful, you should avoid it.

If the artist have a logo that is polytheistic in nature and they have it as their pfp or channel logo would watching from their channel be allowed or sinful?

Logo doesn’t necessarily mean to reflect what his piece of art contains.

There is a person who has his logo inspired by taoism philosophy yin yang. He explains that how his art is a reflection of this philosophy like when stress increases it comes with balance and creativity. Wouldn’t this be applied to every piece of art he produces?

I have seen scholars saying that Muslims shouldn’t adopt yin yang philosophy as it has polytheistic origins and if one consumes art from such a person isn’t he or she giving a green signal to that person that all is okay

It is his idea. If his piece of art has an independent value too, a Muslim can enjoy it.

Like this app has a specific logo and for example al mawrid also has a logo similarly mostly musicians have a specific logo for their branding and the logo’s concept is unislamic. Would it be okay to consume art or videos produced by such an artist if they are okay? If yes why so? Wouldn’t your view or interest towards the artist help to spread the meaning behind logo?

Already answered. However, if you feel like to avoid it, you can. But others can take it differently.
