Going Home Earlier
I’m not sure if this is a real moral failing since I sometimes fixate on things pathologically. I have evening duties in hospital ward (rotational training) which is not my own ( kinda like being send for interning for diverse skills ). The person acting as my supervisor assigned me evenings and said 7pm . She assigned another person to look after me ( someone who themselves will be working in the ward ). Anyways the person who I’ve been assigned to now insists that I leave much earlier … like several hours ( in their defence I am of limited utility as everything I do must be supervised since this is not my field and the things I’m here learn aren’t exactly very hard ). Is it a breach of trust/ spoken contract of my acting supervisor if I do leave early ( I’m pretty sure the person they assigned me to is sending me unofficially and don’t expect me mention it to my supervisor) but also the supervisor isn’t exactly on these calls and might be ok with me leaving anyways since it is their culture ( hard to know). I come off kind of silly sometimes to others maybe .. just refusing to go while not having much to do. What if I leave only an hour or a half early…I feel like my supervisor might actually be cool with that( i genuinely think she just doesn’t care too much about me anyways)?
