Please let me know if I’m correct in understanding that Ghamidi sir said that al-Masih al-Dajjal will be an imposter claiming Messiahship. And that the imposter is yet to come. Could it be anyone presenting himself as the awaited Messiah but is actually deceptive and misleading people? Will the impostor actually claim to be Messiah or will he just claim to be a devoted religious person while at the same time misleading people? It doesn’t sit right with me Because I think Allah’s hints are subtle especially when it comes to the beginning of the end. Like yogmagog aren’t some distinguished-looking species but Ghamidi sir interpreted they are the western nations. If a man claims to be Messiah, that would be a very open, miraculous hint of the day of judgment. And everyone who awaits messiah might revert. Is that fair to people who are constantly searching for Allah’s goodness and love. And even the biggest tyrants might revert back to Allah and stop fascism if they believe Messiah has come? Or to sinners who died before Al-Masih al-Dajjal? So will Dajjal actually claim to be Messiah or it will be more subtle like a man who claims to be a pious person but is the opposite? Because there are several examples of such hypocrites already. And people can tell whose a hypocrite given today’s technology and information so they might be able to tell that Al-Dajjal is just claiming to be Al-messiah and the fascist and tyrant will probably be the first to say taubah. Which might be unfair to the rest of the population

Deen is clear in its message, and it has been preserved for us. Everything essential is already contained in the Quran and Sunnah. The claims of people, whether pious or otherwise, must be judged against the authoritative teachings of Deen. If any statement or action contradicts these teachings, it must be rejected, regardless of how towering the personality may be. Therefore, every Muslim needs to understand his or her Deen.

Everyone has their own test. Human beings are capable of rejecting even a prophet they have been awaiting, as happened in the cases of Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them). Similarly, those who are inclined to deny Dajjal as a sign foretold by the Prophet may reject it as well. We know that the Prophet’s prediction about the Arabs competing with one another in constructing tall buildings has been fulfilled, yet many people still do not accept his prophethood as true. Every age has its truth evident to it; some believe it, and some do not.

According to the reports, Masih al-Dajjal will be a Jewish individual who will claim to be the promised Messiah. He will possess extraordinary powers, possibly acquired through the advanced technology available in his time.
