Friday Prayers
While ghamdi sahab acknowledge that there are many riwayat about the number of sunnat raqaat before and after friday farz prayer…..but hassan ilyas claimed that these sunnat raqaat were started after the member of Jummah shifted from leader to molvies…
Since Friday pulpit originally belongs to state….after it was shifted to molvies, fuqhas tried to keep both prayer together (ordinary zohar prayer + Friday prayer) and this ordinary zohar prayer got mingled with Friday prayer as nawafil….
If it is so(a latter innovation)….why do we have hadees regarding the Friday sunnah raqaat from sahabies…
