  Did Adam Commit Shirk?

  According to the Quran Adam was deceived by shaitan to eat fruit of a certain tree.Adam thought the fruit will make him stay in the garden eternally or make him Angel or something like that. Thus by doing so he clearly committed shirk.What’s your take on that?
