Free Amazon Products
I came across some people doing product marketing for amazon sellers to rank their products on amazon. They offer giving free products in exchange for a good review. The way it works is we have to buy a product from Amazon, write a good review (even if we don’t like the product quality) and after few days we receive the refund. So we end up getting free product, all we have to pay is shipping fee, which can also be avoided if one has a Amazon prime account. My question is, Is it alright to get free products in exchange for writing good reviews even if the product is not good? Isn’t it like telling a lie to so many people out there and misleading them?

Anything immoral is not permissible in Islam. Writing fake reviews is indeed a deceptive and an immoral practice.

Writing a good review about a bad product to get a free product I think is totally wrong
