Symbols Of Allah
ذٰلِكَ وَمَنۡ يُّعَظِّمۡ شَعَآئِرَ اللّٰهِ فَاِنَّهَا مِنۡ تَقۡوَى الۡقُلُوۡبِ
(22:32) Such is the fact. And whoso venerates the sanctity of all that have been ordained as symbols of Allah surely does so because it is part of the true piety of the hearts.
When everything is supposed to be an ayah (e.g the stars, sky etc) then how are these symbols from everything else thats supposed to remind us about God?

The point of these symbols is to remind us about God. The point of everything around us is also to remind us about God. So how are these symbols different from the rest of God’s signs?
I guess because the rest of the signs can make us recognise God and make us acknowledge only the universal truths. Whereas, these (Sha’irAllah) further help us in judging the level of Iman we have once we recognise Allah and submit?

Yes! they are different from general signs and do have an emotional attachment for Believers; but at the same time, there are important worship rituals attached to these places. Is is also a requisite of veneration that these ‘Shaair’ not be amalgamated with Bidah and Shirk.
